About the Role 

We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our R&D team, DevSupport. The team is responsible for production support and issue resolution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys debugging real production problems, working with live systems, and ensuring smooth product operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Handle product technical support tickets 

  • Investigate issues reported by customers or internal teams 

  • Debug and fix bugs or minor issues in the application 

  • Perform root cause analysis using logs and system monitoring tools 

  • Escalate complex issues to the development team  

Note: This is primarily a support-focused role, with the majority of work centered around issue investigation and bug fixing. Depending on workload and bandwidth, there may also be opportunities to contribute to feature developments or enhancements. 

Shift Timings 

The DevSupport team works in shifts. 

Your shift timing will be: 

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 PM to 4:30 AM 

On-Call Support 

  • Weekend on-call duty is required approximately once every three weeks 

  • You will only be required to work in case of a P1 alert or critical production issue 

Required Skills & Experience 

  • 1 to 4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails 

  • Ability to read logs, trace issues, and perform root cause analysis 

  • Understanding of databases and background job systems (e.g., Resque) 

  • Familiarity with APIs and production systems 

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS
