Ruby on Rails Developer (Product Support)
We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our R&D team with a focus on production support and issue resolution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys debugging real-world problems, working with live systems, and ensuring smooth product operations.
You will primarily handle support tickets, investigate issues reported by customers or internal teams, fix minor problems, and escalate complex issues to the development team. You will also contribute to occasional feature development and enhancements
This role functions based on a shift schedule per USA hours, specifically
Saturday + Sunday: 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM India Standard Time (IST)
3 workweek days of choice: 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM India Standard Time (IST)
Additionally, there is a requirement to be on call during weekends, with the frequency of once every three weeks.
If you want to join our journey, you’ll need:
- 1 to 3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Ability to read logs, trace issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Understanding of databases and background job systems (e.g., Resque)
- Familiarity with APIs and production systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS)
